Jeremy Meek

Jeremy Meek literally grew up with Desert Star Construction in his DNA, igniting a passion for innovation in the luxury construction space. Jeremy’s keen desire is to advance this company’s long-standing commitment to providing clients with trademark DSC excellence. Jeremy currently serves Team DSC in the role of President. Along with a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Arizona State University and a Master of Philosophy in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge in England, Jeremy brings more than 27 years of on-the-job training, which he gained while working at DSC every summer since 1996. In 2007, Jeremy also had the opportunity to manage an out-of-town project; his best memory with DSC. “We take every project very personally, but in this case I actually lived on the jobsite in an Airstream trailer,” he shares. “That gave me a unique sense of ownership and insight into our build process, and illustrated that nobody achieves success on their own. I still use that experience when I work with clients today.”

Jeremy is a LEED for Homes Accredited Professional and has previously served as Adjunct Faculty at ASU’s Del E. Webb School of Construction, teaching in the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environments. He continues to guest lecture periodically within the green building space. Jeremy has previously served as an Advisory Board Member for Grand Canyon University’s Environmental Science Program. Jeremy has completed Stanford University’s Advanced Project Management program, the premier certification for program and project management in the 21st century context. Jeremy has been a member of Arizona State University’s President’s Club since 2015 and accepted an appointment by ASU’s Office of the President to serve as the Chair of the Young Leaders for 2019-2023.

This native Arizonan likes anything outdoors that puts sun and wind in his face. His preferences: cycling (he plans to ride across the U.S.A. someday), hiking, and SCUBA diving. One of Jeremy’s creative outlets includes landscape photography, which has led to some of his photos being featured in Arizona Highways Magazine and other similar publications; check out some of Jeremy’s photos at his personal photography website: www.JeremyMeek.com.
