“Biomass energy has been used in some form or another for countless years and certainly has potential for being scaled up through future development,” says Jeremy Meek, sustainability programs manager, Desert Star Construction. “It is viable in certain contexts, but whether it is ‘sustainable’ or not largely depends on the higher level sustainability analysis.”
