Team DSC places a high value on education – both informal and formal. We believe in investing not only in the education of our immediate team through tuition reimbursement, but also our team at large – present and future. Towards this investment, in 2017 we initiated two scholarships through the ASU Foundation and the Del E. Webb School of Construction at ASU’s Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering. Excellence in craftsmanship is a mainstay of quality luxury homes. In 2017, Desert Star Construction, in partnership with our founding trade sponsors, established an endowment at the ASU Foundation that will provide scholarships in perpetuity to those craftsmen who have experience working in the trades and to those who want to pursue a career in the trades, helping to continue building a legacy of excellent craftsmanship in Arizona’s luxury home building market. Each year, Desert Star Construction funds one $5,000 scholarship for a construction management student at ASU’s Del E. Webb School of Construction (DEWSC). Scholarship recipients are Arizona residents and have shown evidence of a desire to work in the luxury custom home building industry, exemplifying the values embodied by Team DSC.
